About Sylvia Moss

Sylvia Moss is an accomplished photographer, author, and healer. Her photographs have appeared in periodicals and newspapers throughout the United States, including The New York Times and Dance Pages Magazine. Her angel photographs have also appeared in Angels on Earth magazine.

Moss’s photograph “Death’s Compassionate Embrace”, from this book, was chosen for the MoMA Wales exhibition A Book About Death. Her work has been displayed in galleries and cultural centers such as New York’s E3 Gallery; Art Quest Los Angeles; Galerie Triangle in Washington, DC; the David Adler Cultural Center in Libertyville, Illinois; and Fordham University. Her work was featured as a solo exhibition at The Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City and at New York State’s Annual Statewide Preservation Conference and was also seen at the Mariners’ Museum in Newport News, Virginia. Her photographs are in numerous private collections and in a calendar with text by Madeleine L’Engle.

Moss is coauthor of two books in the Wake Up Women BE: series—one was a best seller.

Sylvia is also a gifted sound healer and spiritual teacher with a passion for helping others grow and transform. Her extensive training in a variety of techniques allows her to facilitate many different facets of healing and spiritual growth. She is founder of Alchemy Energetic Healing and maintains an active international healing practice. Additionally she is an ordained interfaith minister and Crystal Bowl Master Alchemist, well known for her extraordinary group and individual vibrational sound healing sessions.
